Portsea Bay to Surf - Event

The Portsea Bay to Surf is scheduled for Friday 16 January 2026 and is organised by Portsea Surf Lifesaving Club. It is the fifth annual running of the event. The course runs within Point Nepean National Park and finishes at Portsea Surf Lifesaving Club. Registration takes place at Jarman Oval. Event presentations are held on the day at Portsea SLSC.

Race formats and logistics

The programme includes three event formats:

  • 9 km run on roads, trails and the beach
  • 4.5 km run for first-time or recreational runners
  • 4.5 km walk for families and individuals

On-day registration is available at Jarman Oval. Complimentary buses will operate between the Surf Club and Jarman Oval.
