Lakeland Paws Grizedale Growl takes place in Grizedale Forest on the east side (LA22 0QJ). In season 4, it is the event’s second Grizedale appearance. Runners choose between a 10k loop with 260m of ascent and a shorter 6k route with 150m.

The course runs on wide forest paths and is billed as the most runnable in the series, with less ascent than other events. Both courses are fully marked and chip-timed, with GPX downloads available. Dogs are welcome (up to two per runner on suitable harnesses); entrants without dogs are also welcome.
