Lakeland 100 Recce 3: Buttermere to Dalemain

This recce day is designed for competitors to familiarize themselves with part of the Montane Lakeland 100 course. It is scheduled for Sunday 22nd March 2026, beginning at The Old School Room in Buttermere, Cumbria.

The route is 33 miles long, running from Buttermere to Dalemain via Braithwaite, Blencathra, and Dockray. This section is specific to the Lakeland 100, not the 50. Full kit is required as per the event guidelines, and cut-off times are enforced at checkpoints, so participants need to be fit enough to meet these.

Entry is restricted to individuals confirmed for the Lakeland 100 or 50 in 2026, with a minimum age of 18. The entry fee of £30 includes coach transport, medical support, and basic refreshments at checkpoints. Detailed information is sent out one week prior to the event date.
