The Lake Of The Woods 5k & 50K takes place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Farmersville, Ohio (3939 Swartzel Rd). The event includes these distances:

Course and facilities
The course is a loop that goes through woods and around a lake. The 5k is one loop; the 50k is ten loops. Trails are described as wide and passable and include hills and a shallow creek crossing. There are two aid stations on course: a main aid at the start/finish and one roughly halfway. The main aid station is at an outdoor shelter and will serve hot soup and mashed potatoes throughout the day. The campground has a shower house with heated restrooms when facilities are not winterized, plus two port-a-potties at the main aid and a bonfire area.
Entry requirements and logistics
The 50k has a 10-hour cutoff. Ruckers must carry a minimum of 25 lb and will be weighed at packet pick up; weighted vests are not allowed. Parking is at the campground, and the walk from parking to the clubhouse is under a quarter mile. The event runs in all weather conditions.
