The route is flagged approximately every 200 yards; polka-dot flagging marks turns and blue ribbons mark wrong ways. If a runner does not see their flagging for 3-4 minutes, they should retrace to find the course.

Fully stocked aid stations appear every 4-5 miles with fruit, salty snacks, candy, water, and Skratch drink; runners are advised to carry at least 20 oz of water between stations. The event is cupless; participants should bring a personal fluid container. Parking is $5 per vehicle. Drop bags are allowed for 30K, Marathon, and 50K. Pre-registered runners receive shirts; all finishers receive medals, and 50K finishers receive a custom coaster. Results are timed with bibtags and published regularly.
