Independence Day Dash 5K and Kids Run

The event takes place on July 3, 2026 at Sycamore Grove Park (Wetmore Entrance), 1051 Wetmore Road, Livermore, CA 94550.

Kids Run 400 meters

The 5K is run on a flat loop that combines the Winery Loop dirt trail and the paved Arroyo Del Valle Regional Trail. The course includes both paved and dirt surfaces. Strollers are not recommended because parts of the trail are rocky. Dogs are not allowed to participate in the race. The 5K registration fee is $35. Registration opens March 30, 2026 and closes June 1, 2026.

The Kids Run is an untimed, out and back 400 meter run along the Sycamore Trail that starts and ends in front of the Wetmore Entrance. It is for children 12 and under. The kids race is free; an optional event shirt is available for $12. Kids Run registration opens March 30, 2026 and closes July 3, 2026.

Parking is provided at Independence Park, 2798 Holmes Street, Livermore, with a short walk to the Wetmore Entrance of Sycamore Grove Park. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
