Independence Day Dash 5K and Kids Run - Livermore

The event takes place on July 3, 2026, at Sycamore Grove Park (Wetmore Entrance), 1051 Wetmore Road, Livermore, CA 94550. It features two running events with different formats and distances.

  • 5K - flat loop mixing the Winery Loop dirt trail and the paved Arroyo Del Valle Regional Trail.
  • 400 meters (Kids Run) - untimed out-and-back along the Sycamore Trail for children 12 and under.

The 5K course includes both dirt and paved sections; the trail can be a little rocky, so strollers are not recommended. Dogs are not allowed to participate in the races. The 5K registration fee is listed as $35 and the Kids Run registration fee is listed as $10. Registration opening and closing dates are provided by the organizer.

Parking is suggested at Independence Park, 2798 Holmes Street, with a walk to the Wetmore Entrance of Sycamore Grove Park. Race results and race day photos are noted as being posted by the organizer after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
