Event

The Kokopelli XC Invitational takes place on November 8, 2025 at the El Pomar Youth Sports Complex, 2212 Executive Circle, Colorado Springs, CO. The 2025 event adds a USATF Open/Masters division as part of the Colorado Long Distance Grand Prix Series, which includes a $10,000 prize purse and a Club Championship with age-graded scoring. Course maps and a parking, team camp, restroom and packet pickup map are provided by the organizer.

Race details

Registration is open for youth and adult divisions. Entry fees listed by the organizer are $25 for youth and $30 for Open/Masters, excluding processing fees; entries are nonrefundable. Packet pickup opens 60 minutes before the first race at the covered picnic table on the east side of the park, located between the race start and finish. Hal Sports will provide professional timing and results will be posted after the event. Awards are 1st-10th for each youth age group, 1st-3rd in Open/Masters age categories (Open 15-39, Masters 40+, Grand Masters 50+, Senior Masters 60+), and a USATF trophy for the top club team. Youth and Masters athletes race using their age as of December 31, 2025.
