The Greenland Trail Races take place on May 2, 2026 at Greenland Open Space in Larkspur, Colorado. The event includes the following distances:

The 2026 RRCA National 50K Championship is hosted as part of this race. Registration items include a gender-specific technical shirt, a finisher medal, chip timing, and free race photos. 50K finishers receive a belt buckle. The race offers a virtual option with a mailed packet that includes a shirt, medal and bib. The 50K has an age minimum of 18; the shorter events have a youth discount for ages 17 and under.
Course and logistics
The course lies within over 3,000 acres of Greenland Open Space and uses dirt trails, including wide double-track sections. The route follows part of the Colorado Front Range Trail and the Old Territorial Road, passing grasslands, ponds, Gamble oak hills and ponderosa pine stands with views of Pikes Peak. The saddle high point is at about 7,400 feet. The 50K completes the loop four times and the 25K completes it twice; the 4 Mile course is approximately 4.25 miles. Aid stations are located at about mile 3.5 and mile 7.5 of each loop; the 4 Mile has no aid stations. Pacers are allowed only on the final 50K lap. Crew access is limited to designated aid station locations. Pre-race packet pickup is available the day before at Runners Roost in Lone Tree, and race day pickup is available at the site.
