Greenland Trail Races

The Greenland Trail Races take place in southern Douglas County, Colorado. This event features a selection of distances on a soft dirt trail course, often utilized by runners aiming for personal best times. Participants run with views of Pikes Peak in the background.

The following distances are available:

  • 50K trail ultramarathon
  • 25K trail race
  • 8 Miles trail race
  • 4 Miles trail race

The event uses chip timing to record official results for all participants. Runners receive a technical running shirt available in both men's and women's sizes. After completing their respective distances, participants have access to food and beer at the finish area. The course is situated near Larkspur, providing a natural setting for trail running.

In addition to the in-person events held at the Greenland Open Space, there are virtual options for the 50K and 25K distances. These allow participants to complete the distances remotely while still being part of the event program. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
