KNC 7 - Minster-on-sea

KNC 7 is a Street-O MapRun orienteering event on the Isle of Sheppey described as Kent's "Coast and Island" event. It takes place on Thursday 20th November with the meet and free parking at Little Oyster Car Park, The Leas, Minster on Sea, Sheerness ME12 2NJ. An Apres-O option is available at The White House Bangladeshi and Indian Restaurant at the end of The Leas; pre-ordering is required.

Course, entry and event details

The event is an online advance registration only Street-O using MapRun. The course is a 60 minute score with 31 virtual MapRun controls. There are time deductions for each full or part minute returned late. Entry fees are: individual senior member/non-member £7.00/£10.00, junior £4.00, group £12.00/£15.00. Juniors are defined as under 21 on 31st December. A basic non-SIAC dibber is available for loan. Withdrawal before the event generates a credit note for future Saxons events. Competitors take part at their own risk; competitors with medical conditions should complete a medical form and hand it to the organiser in a sealed envelope. Results will not be displayed at the event; split prints are available and final results can be accessed on the Saxons website after the event. Explore ever changing trails at Galleywood Common with 10 or 16 mile self navigated routes provided on the day. There are no course markings or mass start and the finish at the Horse & Groom pub includes a voucher. Entrants must be 18+.
