Killearn 10k Trail Race - Killearn, Stirlingshire

The Killearn 10k is a trail race held on 6 June 2026. The event covers a distance of 10 km and uses a mixture of surfaces, including tarmac, forest paths, farm tracks and open grassland. Total elevation on the route is approximately 310 ft.

The route starts and finishes in Killearn Public Park, proceeds through the village, follows the historic pipe track, skirts the foothills of Dumgoyne and returns via Ibert Road. Race numbers are posted to the entrant’s registered address.

Entries include a technical event t-shirt or vest chosen at sign-up; size or style swaps are not available on race day. The event operates a no refund policy and does not offer deferrals. Official transfers of entries are permitted up to 31 March 2026 through the event entry system. Unofficial bib swapping is not allowed.

Entrants must be 17 or older on race day and must be medically fit to participate; participation is at the entrant’s own risk. A risk assessment is published before race day. The event is affiliated with Scottish Athletics Limited and follows UKA rules, licence pending. The finish line closes after 1 hour 30 minutes and prize giving takes place in the park. A guided 6 km trail run from Milngavie Train Station using headtorches, following parts of the Clyde Coastal Path and West Highland Way. Social group runs with qualified guides, mandatory trail shoes and a headtorch.

A unique five-hour endurance run set in a medieval village. Runners complete as many laps as possible, starting in daylight and finishing under torchlight. Enter solo, in a pair, or as a team of four, with fancy dress strongly encouraged.

Test your endurance at the Ben Ledi Uphill Only Race, a 5.3 km climb with 760 m of ascent finishing at the mountain summit. This event hosts the Scottish Athletics Senior and U20 Hill Running Championships.
