The Kal-Haven Trail Run takes place on April 11, 2026 at Kal-Haven Trail State Park in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The event includes three formats: Solo Runner, 2-person relay, and 3-6 person relay. The solo course runs from Kalamazoo to South Haven for approximately 33.5 miles. There are six aid stations along the route that provide hydration and snacks. Solo runners may use up to three drop bags. The race is designated as an RRCA Championship race. All finishers receive a finisher medal. Awards are given in five-year age groups and for Male, Female, and Non-Binary for the solo event and overall for the relays.

Logistics and rules

Online registration requires payment at the time of registration; no payments are accepted at packet pickup or on race day. To guarantee a commemorative shirt, registration must be received by March 22, 2026. Team rosters may be changed online by the team captain up to midnight on March 31, 2026. Coed relay rules: 3-4 person coed teams must include at least one female; 5-6 person coed teams must include at least two females. Packet pickup is available Friday, April 10 at Mitten Running Co in Portage and on race morning at the Kal-Haven Trail State Park start area. Parking is not allowed along 10th Street; overflow parking is at Center Point Church, which is served by a shuttle. All registrations are final; no refunds or deferments are offered.
