Logistics and rules
Traction gear (MICROspikes, crampons, snowshoes, etc.) is allowed for all climbs; skinning with AT skis or a splitboard is allowed on the Midway and Öo’mawki events. Free MICROspikes demos are available at check-in on a first-come, first-served basis. Timing mats will be located at the top of the Midway and Öo’mawki climbs to record splits; not crossing the mats will remove a time from results, and mats may fail in extreme cold or deep snow. If a racer finishes a different course than registered, that time will be removed from results and racers should notify a volunteer. Race bibs must be pinned on the front outermost layer, timing tags must not be bent, and bibs are souvenirs. Park in numbered lots near Fremont Restaurant + Bar; certain small and drop-off lots are restricted. Raffles and a Golden Ticket raffle run alongside the event; winners do not need to be present. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
