Event overview

The Jurassic Express Trail Run 2026 is scheduled for 14 March 2026 in Great Britain and is organised by UK Running Events. The route runs along coastal and trail terrain, passing landmarks such as Old Harry Rocks, Studland and finishing at the ruins of Corfe Castle. A private steam train is used to return participants to Swanage; train tickets are available for purchase and spectators may also buy train tickets.

Chip timing, a bib number, finisher medal, finisher goodies, water stations, personalised certificate and first aid support are provided. The course is marked with pink arrows and pink tape; hazards and road junctions are marked with caution signs. The event is plastic free at water stations, so participants are asked to bring a reusable cup or bottle. There is no on-site parking; public car parks are located nearby. GPX files and route elevation data are available for each distance. Bibs and, where applicable, train wristbands are posted to entrants before the event.
