The course starts at Horine, circles the Horine area lake, descends Yost Ridge Trail to the Welcome Center, then follows the Siltstone Trail past Bearcamp Road to a turnaround on the Siltstone ridge. Runners return on the same route, with multiple long climbs and descents along the way. Aid stations are located at miles 2, 5, 8, and 11 and are stocked with sports drink, water, Coca-Cola, and a variety of food items; gels are not provided. Participants are advised to carry their own water container; using a reusable cup is suggested. Refunds are not available, but registrations may be deferred to the following year.
