The 10-mile course is a scenic loop with significant elevation gain (2,838 ft), including climbs and a water crossing, while the 5K uses neighborhood roads in a lollipop loop.

Aid stations provide water and sports drinks. Parking is restricted near the trailhead, with shuttles provided from designated lots. A post-race BBQ party with food, beverages, awards, and raffles follows.
