Cross Cut 20K Trail Race

The Cross Cut 20K Trail Race takes place on June 27, 2026 at Bridger Bowl Ski Area in Bozeman, Montana. The event centers on a 20K course that uses mostly technical single-track trail with some tall grass sections.

Registration includes chip timing, a custom race shirt, and a catered lunch and drink provided by Bridger Bowl. The registration fee is $75. Registration opens April 15 and closes June 27 at 01:59.

The race has a four hour cut off time and is not recommended for walkers or hikers. There are three cupless aid stations along the course; participants must provide their own cup or hydration system or may purchase a reusable race cup with registration.

Packet pickup occurs Friday, June 26 at Bozeman Running Company from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Race morning pickup is available at the Jim Bridger Lodge from 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM. Parking is available at the Jim Bridger Lodge.

This is a cupless event and participants are asked to follow Leave No Trace practices: pack out trash and wrappers, stay on designated trails and follow race flags, do not cut trails or switchbacks, and run through mud and snow rather than around them. Awards will be distributed to top male and top female categories. The race does not allow transfers or rollovers; race insurance may be purchased at registration checkout.
