Java Jog – Case Creek Obstacles (QC Java Jog 2K & 5K)
The event takes place on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Case Creek Trails, 7625 120th Avenue, Coal Valley, IL 61240. It is a coffee-themed community run offering short course options.

The route runs through pastures and woodlands and overlooks Case Creek Valley. Multiple aid stations are placed along the course, including a named vanilla iced coffee station. After the run each participant receives a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate and there is a nutrition table with donuts.
This is a fun run and it is not timed; participant times are not recorded and people may walk, jog, or run. The event supports The Rock Island County Animal Care & Control Shelter through QC PAWS.
Optional event items include a custom T-shirt, a finisher medal or dog tag, a custom race bib, and a post-run treat. Listed fees show a range for adults (16 years and up) from $27.50 to $44.50 and a children’s rate (ages 5 to 15) at $15.50 when accompanied by an adult. The run proceeds regardless of normal weather but may be canceled or postponed in extreme conditions. Certain areas are designated for spectators. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
