Interlochen Run for the Arts

Interlochen Run for the Arts is a 5K event held at the Interlochen Center for the Arts campus in Interlochen, Michigan (4000 M-137, Interlochen, MI 49643). The course uses a mix of paved and unpaved trails and includes live music and art installations along the route. Registration proceeds support student scholarships.

The event offers two participation options:

  • 5K Run - VIRTUAL EVENT

Virtual participants may complete the 5K anywhere between May 2 and May 16, 2026, and enter their finish time on the event platform. Virtual entries receive a race t-shirt and medal; shipping of those items is included in the race fee. Pre-registration pricing through April 30 is listed at $35; late and race day registration is listed at $40.

Packet pickup occurs at a local running store and on the Interlochen campus. Awards are given to overall male and female finishers and in age divisions: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 and over.
