The Howelsen Hill Trail Run takes place in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The event utilizes the single track trail system located at the historic Howelsen Hill area, known locally as the Emerald Mountain trails. The course traverses terrain characterized by aspen trees and seasonal wildflowers.
