Course and race operations
The course starts and finishes on a grass area and proceeds across a brief street crossing onto a hard packed dirt horse trail. The route is marked with cones and signs and shares the trail with pedestrians, runners, and equestrians; participants are asked to stay to the right and pass on the left. The turnaround is off to the side of the trail. An aid station at the turnaround/start-finish provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and energy gels.
Included with registration are custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free photos and videos, posted results within 12 to 24 hours, and an assortment of snacks. Transfers are permitted by request; there is a no refund policy. The half marathon has a 3 hour 15 minute time limit.
Parking is available in the large lot near the Merry Go Round/Shane's Inspiration, with entry from Crystal Springs Dr and Fire Rd. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
