The Happy New Year run takes place on January 1, 2026 at West Creek Park in Valencia, CA. Distances offered are:
- 5k
- 10k
- 15k
- Half marathon
Registration is available through Active.com or PayPal. Transfers and early-start requests must be handled through the event organizer. The half marathon has a 3 hour 15 minute time limit. Parking is free on the streets around West Creek Park; participants should take care with pedestrians crossing to the start and finish area.
Course and race services
The course uses an open, shared trail/path with out-and-back loops that are marked. Loop structure:
- 5k is one loop
- 10k is two loops
- 15k is three loops
- Half marathon is three 4.37-mile loops
There is an aid station at every loop turnaround at the start/finish. Aid station supplies include water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. Included with registration are custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free photos and videos, results posted on the event website within 12-24 hours, and an assortment of snacks and samples.
