The Point Mugu Trail Run takes place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Ray Miller Trail Head in La Jolla Canyon, Malibu (near 9000 W. Pacific Coast Highway). It is listed as Race #3 of the 2026 SoCalTrail Trail 1/2 Series, a sequence of six half-marathons held during the year. The event offers both a half-marathon and a 10k trail distance.

Course and distances

The course starts at the Ray Miller Trail and features ocean-view switchbacks, a descent into Sycamore Canyon, and a climb on the Fireline Trail. The short course turns around at the top of Fireline.

Parking is available on Pacific Coast Highway; the trailhead is about one mile north of Sycamore Canyon Campground. The races are cupless.
