The Hendred Fun Run and Walk on Sunday 10 May 2026 is a community running and walking event based at Hendred Sports Club, Mill Lane, East Hendred, OX12 8JS. The main event is a 5k route that starts and finishes at the Sportsground and follows a circular, predominantly trail loop with an undulating profile. A separate kids event is a 1k fun run held on the Sportsground consisting of two laps with simple obstacles.
The event lists age categories for participants including Tweens (8-12), Teens (13-17), Open (18-54) and Legends (55+). There are also children categories by school years for the 1k event. The minimum age to take part is 4 years. Entrants under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at the event; entrants under 16 may only take part with a parent or guardian's permission.
Entries are limited to 180 participants and online entries close on 08/05/2026. On-the-day entries may be available subject to remaining places. Dogs are not permitted with runners. Photographs and video may be taken during the event and used for promotion; participants who do not wish to appear should notify the organiser in advance.
