Hairy Legs

Goring, United Kingdom • 10 May 2026

Event Overview

Hairy Legs is a cross-country event open to all ages. It is a charity event, and all profits support two local primary schools.

Course and Distances

The course features hills and woodland.

The adult race consists of two loops, with each loop described as 6 Hairy Legs km. The distance is noted as a guess, as the course is not formally measured. The loop is undulating and mainly off-road.

Other distances include:

  • Teenage Kicks: One loop of the Hairy Legs course.
  • Little Legs: One or two laps of Sheepcot field.

The adult challenge can be completed as a solo run (two loops) or in a relay team of two (one loop each). There is also a Parent-Teen relay option, where the teen runs the first loop.

Additional Information

Participants are encouraged to wear fancy dress, with a prize for the best-dressed competitor. Every participant receives a free t-shirt. There will be entertainment and refreshments in the race village. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
