The Helmsley Easter 10km is a multi-terrain road and trail race in Helmsley, North Yorkshire, held on 5 April 2026. Now in its 15th year, the event raises funds for Helmsley Open Air Swimming Pool and Samaritans Northallerton & The Dales. The advertised distance is 10 kilometres and the race is limited to 500 entries.

Course and facilities

The route is multi-terrain and takes runners along roads, forestry tracks, footpaths and fields around the market town of Helmsley. The course profile is described as undulating and is run as one lap. Facilities at the Race HQ (Helmsley Open Air Swimming Pool, Baxtons Sprunt, Helmsley YO62 5HT) include water stations, distance markers, toilets, changing facilities, showers and a baggage store. Catering is available after the event and parking is available in the Long Stay Car Park in the Cleveland Way and around the town.

Entry, rules and prizes

Entry fees are listed as Affiliated £20.00 and Unaffiliated £22.00. On-the-day entry may be available for an additional £5.00 if spaces remain. Refunds are not available. Race rules note that standard headphones are not permitted (bone-conduction headphones are allowed), the course is unsuitable for wheelchairs, and dogs are not allowed on the course but will be permitted by the finish area. Enjoy an autumn 5k trail at Kiplin Hall, winding through gardens, woods and grassland on a compact, spectator friendly course. Warm up with a hot drink and spiced flapjack at the finish.
