Healdsburg Fitch Mountain Footrace
The Rotary Club of Healdsburg Sunrise organized the 50th Fitch Mountain Footrace on June 16, 2024, in Healdsburg, California. The race served as a community fundraiser, with proceeds directed to the Healdsburg High School Track and Field and Cross Country Team through the Sunrise Scholarships program.
Distances offered included:
- 10K through neighborhoods and around Fitch Mountain
- 3K in town loop, fairly flat and family friendly
Both courses begin and end near the Historic Downtown Plaza. The 10K course travels through local neighborhoods and loops around Fitch Mountain near the Russian River. The 3K is an in town circuit that is relatively flat and frequently used by walkers, families with young children, and people with dogs.
Group registration was available; each runner needed to be added individually for waiver purposes while multiple entries could be billed to one card. Packet pickup took place at the Healdsburg Running Company at 333 Center Street on Friday and Saturday noon to 5 pm and on race day at 6:30 am. Event photography was posted on Flickr.
