Hawkhurst 10k & 5k - Event overview

The Hawkhurst 10k & 5k is a community running event taking place on 21 June 2026 at The Moor, Hawkhurst, Kent. The event returns for its sixth year and includes races around the Moor on multi terrain, undulating ground.

The event programme includes a mass warm up, finish line cake and a free half pint for finishers at The Eight Bells, plus ice cream and coffee vans and pop up stalls. Participants can expect bespoke medals, spot prizes and trophies for leading runners. Free parking is available at the King George V sports field opposite The Moor.

Route maps and GPX files are provided for competitors. The course is described as multi terrain and undulating; past participants have noted steep sections in places. The race raises funds for local community projects and works with Highgate Hawkhurst WI to support existing and new community initiatives.
