Hawkhurst 10k and 5k

Hawkhurst 10k and 5k is a community road and trail event held on 21 June 2026 at The Moor, Hawkhurst, Kent TN18 4NX. The course is described as multi terrain and undulating and the event is presented in its sixth year in collaboration with Highgate Hawkhurst WI to support local community projects.

The event includes a mass warm up led by a local fitness instructor from Serida Fitness, pop up stalls, ice cream and coffee vans, and marshals and spectators along the route. Organisers provide free parking at the King George V sports field opposite The Moor. Route maps and GPX files are available for download.

Finish-line provisions for finishers include cakes and bakes and a bespoke medal. Trophies and prizes are awarded to leading runners and a free half pint at The Eight Bells is listed among the finishing refreshments. The event also raises funds for projects that benefit the local Hawkhurst community.

A scenic trail half marathon in Seaford on 19 April 2026 that links the seafront with the South Downs and features undulating terrain and climbs. Surplus funds support local charities and entrants receive a medal, water stations and finish..

A 15 mile trail run from the beer garden of the Ye Olde Smugglers Inne in Alfriston with two pub checkpoints offering a drink and snack; route GPX and a race narrative are provided and results appear within 24 hours.

Trail event in the South Downs offering 28 miles and 18 miles routes with 4000 plus ft or 2800 plus ft ascent. Routes pass Seven Sisters, Cuckmere Haven and downland villages and are open to walkers and runners.

An approximately 8 kilometre trail loop around Icklesham with over 75 percent trail, a fully marked and marshalled course, prizes for first male and female, and tea and cake in the hall afterwards.
