Event Overview

The Harvest Hustle offers both a 5k and a 10k trail run at Walnut Creek Park in North Garden, Virginia. The event uses chip timing.

Race Details

The event is a cross country trail run described as having some elevation changes, rocks, and roots. Courses feature several water stations. The 10k route has three water stations and the 5k route has one.

Race points count towards the organizer's Year-Long 5k, 10k, and Back of the Pack series, as well as a Fall Series. The "Back of the Pack" designation refers to a separate series for runners with an average pace higher than a listed time (12:00 per mile).

Registration & Logistics

Registration fees are listed. The price increases after October 15 and again on the morning of the race. Race day registration is available. Packet pickup is on-site at the event.

Runners receive a finisher's medal, a technical event shirt, and a chip-timed result. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations before a specified date, with extras available on a first-come, first-served basis afterward.

Parking is available at Walnut Creek Park. Restrooms are located on-site.

Additional Information

The race benefits Rikki's Refuge, an animal welfare charity. A virtual run option is available for those who cannot attend on race day. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as to first and second place in multiple age groups.
