Hard as OAK: Obstacle Race Derry-Londonderry

Hard as OAK is an obstacle race held in Derry / Londonderry on 20 and 21 June 2026. The event uses the terrain of the Faughan Valley and combines natural features with man made elements to form the course. The main course is a 10 km obstacle race that includes over 50 man made and natural obstacles.

The event also offers separate courses for younger participants:

10 km main obstacle course with over 50 obstacles.
5 km teen mudrace for ages 11 to 17.
2 km miniOAK for ages 6 to 10.

Sixteen and seventeen year olds may take part in the main event under a chaperone system. The event lists partner organisations including Foyle Search & Rescue.
