Guana 50K and 12K Trail Races are held at the Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Presented by JTC Running in association with 1st Place Sports, the event offers a 50K individual, a 50K two-person team, and a 12K race. The 50K course is a 7.75-mile clockwise loop starting and finishing at the trailhead, featuring hard-packed trails, several oak roots, and about 90 percent shade.

The 12K starts farther into the trail to reach its distance. Time limits are 9 hours for the 50K, 7 hours for the 2x25K, and 3 hours for the 12K. Perks include a collector’s hat, finisher shirts, post-race awards at Reef Restaurant, race-day packet pickup, and $3 parking; photos are available online.
