Great Pumpkin Chase

The Great Pumpkin Chase is a fall trail running event held at Lake Elmo Park Reserve in Minnesota on Sunday, October 11, 2026. The event uses natural park trails and features rolling hills and seasonal foliage along the course. Aid stations are placed approximately every 1.5 miles and provide water and Hammer Electrolytes. A professional photographer will be on site at no additional cost, and official results are provided by FrontrunnerUSA.

Distance options include:

  • Kids Trail Fun Run | 0.5 mile
  • 5K | 3.1 miles
  • 10K | 6.2 miles
  • Double Up | complete the 10K followed by the 5K

Additional race details include packet pick-up on race day at Lake Elmo Park Reserve and cash or check only for same-day registrations. Shirts are available with women's styles fitted and running small and men's styles generously sized; registrations within two weeks of the event may receive shirts by mail 3 to 4 weeks after the race and size substitutions are possible. Parking at the park requires a one day pass for $7. Well behaved leashed dogs are welcome. The event offers a post race bonfire and pancake breakfast weather permitting. A 7 mile runnable loop through Lebanon Hills Regional Park in Eagan, MN, part of the Endless Summer Trail Run Series. Chip timed with an on-course water stop, limited to 425 runners and a $30 entry fee.

A rolling five mile trail race in Spring Lake Park Reserve, Hastings on July 29, 2026, with two figure-eight loops, a midrace water stop, chip timing and post-race refreshments; field limited to 425 and entry is nonrefundable.

A community fun run at Elm Creek Park on 8/8/2026 with an hourly 5K format that can add up to 50K. All registrations benefit the Children's Minnesota Kids Cancer Fund and a virtual option with mailed swag is available.

A backyard style bingo run around Sunfish Lake on repeated 2.85 mile loops. Runners draw bingo balls after laps finished within a 32 minute window; two card options change total distance and maximum loops.
