Great Pumpkin Chase : event overview
The Great Pumpkin Chase is a fall trail running event held at Lake Elmo Park Reserve in Lake Elmo, Minnesota on October 11, 2026. The course uses natural trails with rolling hills and is noted for autumn foliage. Aid stations are located about every 1.5 miles and provide water and Hammer Electrolytes. The event allows well behaved, leashed dogs and walkers. A post-race bonfire and a pancake breakfast are planned, weather permitting; spectator breakfast is available for a fee. A professional photographer will be on site and race results are provided by FrontRunnerUSA.

- Double Up (complete the 10K followed by the 5K)
Packet pickup takes place at Lake Elmo Park Reserve on race day before the races and includes the race bib, timing chip, and event shirt if selected. Parents who run with children on the fun run must register as "Parents Fun Run." Awards include top overall male and female and top three male and female in age groups (19 and Under; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70+). Fun Run finishers receive medals; place awards are not given for the Fun Run. Parking at the park requires a one-day pass. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
