Great Pumpkin Chase : October 12, 2025, Lake Elmo Park Reserve

The Great Pumpkin Chase is a trail running event at Lake Elmo Park Reserve in Lake Elmo, Minnesota (1515 Keats Ave). The event includes multiple race options on park trails and a post-race community bonfire and pancake breakfast. Parking is available for a $7 one-day pass at the gate. Well behaved, leashed dogs are permitted. Water and Hammer Electrolytes are provided at water stops. Breakfast is available to spectators for $10.

Race logistics, shirts, and awards

Packet pick-up occurs on race day at Lake Elmo Park Reserve before the races. Race packets include race bib, timing chip, and an event shirt if selected. Registered participants receive an email the Monday before the race with event details. Women's shirts are fitted and run small; men's shirts are generously sized. Registrations within two weeks of the event will receive shirts by mail 3-4 weeks after the race and requested sizes are not guaranteed.

Results are provided by FrontrunnerUSA and a professional photographer will be on site. Awards include top overall male and female, and top three male and female in each age group (19 and Under; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70+).
