Great Pumpkin Chase

The Great Pumpkin Chase is a fall trail running event held at Lake Elmo Park Reserve in Minnesota. The event uses natural trails with rolling hills and peak autumn foliage and offers multiple distance options for participants and families.

Distances:

  • Kids Trail Fun Run 0.5 mile
  • 5K 3.1 miles
  • 10K 6.2 miles
  • Double Up complete the 10K followed by the 5K

Aid stations are positioned about every 1.5 miles and supply water and Hammer Electrolytes. The course is described as dog friendly for well behaved, leashed dogs and walker friendly. Packet pick up occurs on race day at Lake Elmo Park Reserve and includes race bib, timing chip, and event shirt if selected.

Post race amenities, weather permitting, include a bonfire and a pancake breakfast; breakfast is available to spectators for a fee. Parking at the park uses a county 1 day pass available at the gate for a fee. A professional photographer attends races at no additional cost to participants and official results are provided by FrontrunnerUSA.
