Great Mansfield Outdoors 2026

The Great Mansfield Outdoors takes place at the Mansfield Outdoor Centre and within the Dufferin County Forest in Mulmur. The event utilizes single-track trails known for having numerous roots. Trail shoes are recommended for grip, especially in wet conditions.

The event features a variety of distances:

  • 100 km Solo & Relay: Four laps of 25 km with approximately 2000 m of total elevation gain. Relays can consist of teams of 2 to 4 runners.
  • 50 km: Two laps of 25 km with approximately 1000 m of elevation gain.
  • 25 km: A single lap of 25 km with approximately 500 m of elevation gain.
  • 10 km: A single lap with approximately 260 m of elevation gain.
  • 5 km: A single lap with approximately 130 m of elevation gain.

This is a cup-free event, meaning participants are required to bring their own water receptacles. Aid stations, providing both full service and self-serve water, are located throughout the courses. On the 25 km loop, the maximum distance between aid stations is 4.5 km.

The race headquarters is located at the main lodge of the Mansfield Outdoor Centre, where free parking is provided in designated rows. On-site accommodation options include group camping, quiet camping, and cabins, which can be booked directly through the venue. Participants receive a finisher medal and a mug upon completion.
