Rainbow Trail Run 2026

The Rainbow Trail Run takes place on June 13, 2026 at Earl Rowe Provincial Park in Alliston, Ontario. The event is built around an approximate 12K loop that circles through park trails and crosses bridges over Earl Rowe Lake.

Available distances are based on loop counts:

  • Half Loop - 6K
  • 1 Loop - 12K
  • 2 Loops - 24K
  • 4 Loops - 50K (approximate, 2K added on first loop)
  • 5 Loops - 62K (approximate, 2K added on first loop)

The course is mostly double-wide trail with sections of grass, dirt, rocks and roots, plus small paved crossings and bridge sections. The route is relatively flat with one short climb up to a lookout point.

Event services include two aid stations on course : one at the start/finish and one roughly halfway through the 12K loop. The 6K course has a self-serve water station near 3K. This is a cup-free event; each runner receives a SpeedCup at race kit pickup. Drop bags can be left near the loop exit under a dedicated 10 x 10 tent; personal shelters up to 10' x 10' are permitted in designated areas.

Each finisher receives a custom rainbow spinner medal. 6K and 12K participants receive technical trail socks; 24K, 50K and 62K participants receive a technical running hat. Overall top three male and female solo finishers are acknowledged. Chip timing is provided and results are posted after the event. Park entry for one vehicle is covered by the race fee; additional vehicles are subject to park charges. Procyon Wildlife Centre is listed as a community partner.
