About the race
Polar Rush is a winter obstacle run held at Albion Hills Conservation Area in Caledon on Saturday, February 27, 2027. The event takes place at a snowy outdoor park located about 45 minutes from downtown Toronto and uses the park terrain for its course. The main circuit is approximately 5 to 6 km long and features 14 obstacles. Examples listed by the organizer include wall climbs, crazy carpets, a Disc run, snow crawls and a Snowball Gauntlet added for 2026.
The event provides park entry (an $18 value), a custom metal finisher medal, free hot chocolate at the finish, one free craft beer per participant for attendees 19 and over, and a Polar Rush buff; some registration levels also include a toque. A stocked aid station offers hydration and candy. Polar Rush welcomes participants aged 7 and up and offers an automatic $20 family discount for participants 18 and under. The on-site experience includes a bonfire afterparty, barbecue facilities, and themed costume waves that have included superhero, animal, 1980s and Pride themes.
The event also lists sponsors and notes ongoing support for Sick Kids. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
