About the race
Caledon Crusher is a trail running event held on April 10, 2027 in Mono, ON along the Caledon Hills section of the Bruce Trail. The event is organized by Crazy Cat Adventures and offers three distance options that follow the Bruce Trail white blazes only.
Distances
- E2E 72K - ~2100 m elevation, from Creditview to Mono Centre
- 50K - ~1200 m elevation, point to point from Horseshoe Hill to Mono Centre
- 25K - ~850 m elevation, out and back from Mono Centre
The course features singletrack and double track with many technical sections and sustained climbing. Course marking uses only the Bruce Trail white blazes; additional signage is not provided. There are seven approximate aid station locations with a range of supplies including hydration, electrolytes, snacks and some drop bag access. A water-only station is listed near 51 km and a drop bag location near 32 km.
Logistics note: 50K and E2E participants must pick up race kits at Mono Community Centre and board a provided bus to their start. Kit pickup and parking are located at Mono Community Centre; parking is free but limited. Mandatory gear for the 50K and E2E includes a toque or beanie, cell phone, rain jacket, hydration pack or vest, and a headlamp for the finish. Awards are given to the top three overall male, female and non-binary finishers in each event. The event indicates no refunds but allows deferrals or transfers under stated conditions.
