Caledon Crusher

The Caledon Crusher is a trail running event held in Mono, Ontario, along the Caledon Hills section of the Bruce Trail. The course features a variety of terrain including singletrack, double track, and significant elevation changes. Participants navigate the route using the Bruce Trail white blazes, as no additional signage is provided.

The event offers three distinct distance options:

  • 72 km (E2E): An End-to-End route with approximately 2100 m of elevation gain, starting at Creditview and finishing at Mono Centre.
  • 50 km: A point-to-point course with approximately 1200 m of elevation gain, starting at Horseshoe Hill and finishing at Mono Centre.
  • 25 km: An out-and-back route with approximately 850 m of elevation gain, starting and finishing at the Mono Community Centre.

For the 50 km and 72 km distances, participants are required to pick up their race kits at the Mono Community Centre and board a shuttle bus to their respective start lines. Mandatory gear for these longer distances includes a toque or beanie, a cell phone, a rain jacket, a hydration pack or vest (1-1.5L), and a headlamp.

There are seven stocked aid stations along the course providing water and nutrition. All finishers receive a medal, and those completing the 72 km distance also receive a Caledon Hills Bruce Trail Club End-to-End badge. Post-race food is provided at the Mono Community Centre, where free parking is available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
