The Utopia Backyard Ultra 2025, hosted by North of 89 Outdoors, takes place at the Tiffin Centre for Conservation in Utopia. This unique endurance event challenges runners to complete a 4.88-mile (6.7 km) loop every hour on the hour until only one finisher remains. The course features relatively flat, looped trails through wetlands, forests, meadows, and ancient lake beds, with a small out-and-back section. Besides the main backyard ultra, 12-hour and 6-hour sub-events allow participants to run as many laps as possible within the time limits.
