Crew access is available at designated points reachable by vehicle via the Blue Ridge Parkway; one crew-only location is Bald Mountain Overlook.
Cutoff times are strictly enforced: a 12-hour cutoff for the 40-mile race and a 6-hour cutoff for the 20-mile race. Drop bag rules include a small backpack size limit, required labeling, and specific return times - Kennedy Trail bags return around 2 PM, Bald Mountain bags return after 4 PM and are not vehicle accessible. Unclaimed drop bags will not be shipped. Registration opens July 25 and closes October 31 at 11:00 PM ET; tiered entry fees are listed for each distance.
