Grayt Jackalope 10 & 5 Miler

The Grayt Jackalope is a trail race event organized by Rotorhead 30A Running Company and established in 2017. It offers two distances that both start and finish at the Grayton Beach State Park trailhead, with their courses taking place exclusively on the park trail system near Inlet Beach, FL.

The courses run on natural singletrack and mixed trail surfaces. Runners should expect tree roots, rocks, sand, and, when it rains, standing water and mud. The start and finish are located at the gravel parking lot on CR-30A at Grayton Beach State Park.

Awards are given to overall male and female winners and runner ups for each distance, and first place finishers in each age group receive awards. Age groups listed include 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80-89. All participants who complete their course receive finisher medals. Awards and finisher medals not picked up at the event may be shipped to the participant at the participant’s expense.

Registration closes on the day before the event at 11:59 PM CT. Registration fees are non-refundable; transfers to another registered runner are permitted within the posted transfer period. Event rules prohibit animals from participating. Strollers and wagons are allowed but must start at the back; participants using certified running wheelchairs or adaptive devices should contact organizers in advance.
