The 10-mile race consists of a single loop on the Pt Washington State Forest trail system. The 20-mile race is two laps of that 10-mile loop.

Course and terrain

The trails include tree roots, rocks, sand, and fallen trees. If there is rain, participants may encounter standing water and mud. The course uses natural forest trails and is not described as a groomed running path.

Registration, packet pick-up, and awards

Registration closes on January 23, 2026. Runners who register by January 8, 2026 are guaranteed a race hoodie. Packet pick-up takes place on Friday, January 23 at Fleet Feet Inlet Beach, 111299 US Hwy 98 E., Inlet Beach, FL.

Awards are given to men’s and women’s overall winners and runners-up for each course, and to first place male and female age group winners. All registered runners who complete the race receive a finisher award. Unclaimed awards can be shipped to the runner at the runner’s expense.
