In the Woods 30A 50K
In the Woods 30A 50K takes place on February 20, 2027, with the course departing from the Point Washington State Forest Eastern Lake Trailhead. The route follows forest trails through pine stands with multiple creek crossings and sections of sand. Runners should expect rocks, roots, stumps and large mud puddles; shoes are likely to be very dirty at the finish.
The event offers two entry formats:
- 50K solo, completed as three laps
- three person relay, each runner completes one full lap
Registrants receive a long sleeve tech shirt; registration by February 6 guarantees a shirt. All finishers receive a finisher medal. Awards are given to first through third place finishers in the men’s and women’s solo races and to first through third place teams in the two and three person relays. Additionally, first place solo finishers in each age group receive awards.
A special recognition, the In the Woods 30A 50K U4 Club award, is given to solo runners who finish the 50K in under four hours.
Packet pick up is scheduled for February 19, 2027 at Fleet Feet Inlet Beach, 11299 US Hwy 98 E, Inlet Beach, FL. If the event is cancelled no refunds will be issued; registrants may pick up their race swag and medal at Fleet Feet Inlet Beach. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
