Gravel Rush Run - Winchester

The Gravel Rush Run is a single-loop off-road running event held at Matterley Estate in Winchester, within the South Downs National Park on 27 June 2026. The event offers mixed-surface routes that run on gravel tracks, grassy paths and woodland trails inside a private estate.

Distances offered:

  • 10km £27.50 age 16+ on the day £35
  • 21km half marathon £35 age 18+ on the day £45

Both routes start and finish on a wide gravel section. The course layout includes an initial 8km loop, after which half marathon runners continue through an additional 13km of dirt trails, open paths and faster gravel roads. The 10km follows the same route until about the 9km mark and then returns toward the finish. Some sections are revisited during the half marathon, and steep grassy banks near the start and finish provide viewing areas for spectators.

Entries include a TrailX Gravel Rush medal, a TrailX soft cup for water stations, voucher codes from partners, chip timing, live results and on-site catering. The course is purpose built within a private venue, clearly marked and supported by marshals and event staff. Online registration is available until 24 June 2026 and on-the-day entry may be possible if space allows. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
