Gravel Rush Run - Winchester

The Gravel Rush Run takes place on Saturday 27 June 2026 at Matterley Estate in the South Downs National Park. The event is a single-loop, mixed-surface off-road run that follows gravel tracks, grassy paths and woodland trails and offers two distance options.

  • 10 km - Age 16 plus; entry fee £27.50; on the day £35.
  • 21 km Half Marathon - Age 18 plus; entry fee £35; on the day £45.

The course starts and finishes on a wide gravel section with steep grassy banks nearby for spectators. Runners complete an initial 8 km loop from the start; the half marathon continues for a further 13 km across dirt trails, open paths and faster gravel roads. The event is not a multi-lap race, though some sections are revisited during the half marathon. The 10 km route follows the shared path until about the 9 km mark, then returns toward the finish.

Included with entry are a dedicated TrailX Gravel Rush medal, voucher codes from partners, a TrailX soft cup used at water stations and taken home, chip timing and live results. The course is purpose built within a private venue with clear markings, marshals and on site catering. Online registration is available until 24 June 2026 and all entries are subject to a 3% admin fee. On the day entry may be possible if space remains.
