Grafham Water Trail Races

Event details

Grafham Water Trail Races take place on 11 October 2026 at Marlow Park, Grafham Water, Grafham, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire (PE28 0BH). The event offers fully marked and marshalled trail races over the following distances:

• 10k
• Half Marathon

Entries are priced at £25 for the 10k and £30 for the half marathon. Minimum ages on race day are 16 for the 10k and 17 for the half marathon. Entries and transfers close seven days before the event. The race cut-off time is four hours for both distances. Running with dogs is not permitted on the footpaths used by the races.

Course and on-course support

Both routes start and finish at Marlow Park and follow trails and sections of the Three Shires Way bridleway. The 10k loops back onto the outward track, while the half marathon includes a large lap of the reservoir. GPX files for both routes are available to download.

Professional first aid will be based at the start and finish with access to the course. Race Harborough volunteers will provide hydration: three water stations on the half marathon (locations TBC) and one water station on the 10k (location TBC). Water will also be available at the finish. No in-ear headphones are allowed; bone-conduction headphones are permitted.

Kit, prizes and other notes

Trail shoes or shoes with grip are advisable. Mandatory items include a fully charged mobile phone - for the half marathon this should include the Race Director and Race Medic numbers - and a personal cup, as races are cupless. Prizes are planned for the top three male and female finishers in both races, and all finishers receive a commissioned race medal. Parking is available at Marlow Park with applicable parking fees.
