Grafham Water Trail Races

The event on 11 October 2026 offers fully marked and marshalled trail races around Grafham Water on natural trails and tracks. Two distances are available:

• 10 km
• Half Marathon

Both routes start and finish at Marlow Park, Grafham Water, and follow local trails including sections of the Three Shires Way. The 10 km route returns on the outward track while the half marathon continues with a large lap of the reservoir. The courses pass through Cambridgeshire countryside and include notable views.

Entries will open with fees set at £25 for the 10 km and £30 for the half marathon. Minimum ages on race day are 16 for the 10 km and 17 for the half marathon. The race cut off time is four hours for both races. Entries and transfers close seven days before the event. Running with dogs is not permitted on the course.

On-course support includes professional first aid at the start and finish with access to runners on the course. Volunteers will staff hydration points with three water stations on the half marathon route and one on the 10 km route, and water will be available at the finish. In-ear headphones are not allowed; bone conduction headphones that do not sit in the ears are permitted.

Trail shoes are advisable. Mandatory items include a fully charged mobile phone with the Race Director and Race Medic numbers for the half marathon, and a personal cup for this cupless event. Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each race and all finishers receive a commemorative medal. Race merchandise can be pre-ordered up to three weeks before the event and will not be sold on race day. Free digital race photos will be available after the event.
