Race Format

The Gothic Mountain Tour is a fundraising event for Crested Butte Nordic, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. It features two circumnavigation routes around Gothic Mountain. The event takes place in Crested Butte.

Participants can choose between two courses:

  • Competitive Course: 23.5 miles
  • Recreational Course: 17.85 miles

The entry fee for the competitive course is $151.52 (includes a $9.52 fee). The recreational course fee is $122.90 (includes a $7.90 fee). Prices increase after January 31, 2026. Both events are open to participants aged 16 and over.

Participant Information

Entry fees are non-refundable and go entirely into event production and fundraising for local groups, which include Crested Butte Nordic, Crested Butte Search and Rescue, and the Crested Butte Avalanche Center.
