Gothic Mountain Tour
Crested Butte, United States • 15 Feb 2026
Event overview
The Gothic Mountain Tour is a fundraising nordic ski event on Sunday, February 15, 2026, in Crested Butte, Colorado. The event is operated to support Crested Butte Nordic, a 501(c)(3) recreational non-profit. Registration opens October 15, 2025. The event is capped at 200 participants by Forest Service permit. No entry refunds are offered and transfers between participants are not available. Prices listed on the registration page show separate fees for each course. Participants must be at least 16 years old.
Courses and logistics
The event features two point-to-point courses that circumnavigate Gothic Mountain:
- 23.5 miles - competitive course
- 17.85 miles - recreational course
The competitive course begins behind the Crested Butte Community School. The recreational course begins at the Snodgrass Trailhead. Both courses finish on the CB Nordic trail system at the Magic Meadows Yurt. The event is minimally supported; aid stations at Gothic Townsite, Top of the World, and Pittsburgh Townsite offer hydration and some nutrition. Race staff will transport one small finish-line bag to the Magic Meadows Yurt. The finish is about one mile from the trailhead and free shuttles will circulate to return racers to parking areas.
