Go For the Burn Run

The Go For the Burn Run is an annual fundraising event held in Winnipeg, Manitoba, benefiting the Mamingwey Burn Society Inc. and the burn survivor community. The event takes place at Assiniboine Park, with the start line situated in the Nature’s Playground parking lot.

The race is limited to a maximum of 500 entrants and offers several distance options to accommodate different participation preferences:

  • 10 km (timed)
  • 5 km (timed)
  • 3 km Walk
  • 3 km Youth (for participants aged 16 and under)

Registration includes a free t-shirt for all participants. Additionally, medals are provided for those registered in the timed 5 km and 10 km events.

The course is accessible for individuals using wheelchairs and strollers; however, dogs are not permitted at the event. Following the run, a warm breakfast is provided for all participants and volunteers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
