Go For the Burn Run
The Go For the Burn Run takes place on April 25, 2026, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The event supports the Mamingwey Burn Society Inc, an organization that assists burn survivors. Registration is capped at a maximum of 500 entrants.
The start line is located in the Nature’s Playground parking lot within Assiniboine Park. The course goes through Assiniboine Park.
Four distances are offered:
- 10K (timed)
- 5K (timed)
- 3K Walk
- 3K Youth (for participants aged 16 and under)
All registrations include a free t-shirt. Timed 5K and 10K participants also receive a free medal. A warm breakfast is provided after the run for all participants and volunteers. Wheelchairs and strollers are permitted on the course; dogs are not allowed.
Registration fees vary by distance and registration period: early bird, regular, or late pricing. Reduced youth fees apply for participants aged 16 and under. The event is sponsored by City Park Runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
