The Baxter Trail Club presents the 13th annual Gnome Run trail event on January 1, 2026 in Fort Mill, South Carolina. The event offers trail distances and related options, including meals and a non-competitive ruck. The start and finish are on the Baxter Village Green at 3187 Colonel Springs Drive.

Logistics and entries

The standard registration fee is $35 until race day. Race shirts are available to registrants who register before December 12. There is no charge for children 10 and under when they participate with a paid parent or guardian. The registration package includes the race, music, a t-shirt, giveaways, prizes, and food. A traditional New Year’s lunch of pulled pork, black eyed peas, collard greens, cornbread, and local craft beer will be offered.

Four-legged family members are allowed but must be on a leash. The event is a fundraiser for the Baxter Trail Club, a 501(c)(3); proceeds support trail work days, group hikes, full moon fires, and club administration.
