Glentress Trail Marathon
Peebles, United Kingdom • 15 Feb 2026
Glentress Trail Marathon is a demanding mountain-trail race held in Glentress Forest in the Scottish Borders, between Peebles and Innerleithen, about an hour from Edinburgh. Runners complete two 21k laps of the Glentress route, totaling around 42k with roughly 1,260m of ascent. The course blends forest singletrack, open moorland and sections of blue, red and black MTB trails, including The Goat Track and Spooky Woods, with spectacular views from the forest high points. The route is fully marked; hydration stations are provided and cups are not, so competitors must carry their own water. On-site facilities include a café, toilets, showers and camping.
