The Gleaners Hunger Free Summer Race is scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Freedom River in Brighton, Michigan. The course is described as a cross-country type route with trails, fields, pavement, and slight hills. The 5K is chipped timed and results are professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation; live results are posted on the event website. Awards include gift certificates for overall and master winners and top-three age-group awards (male and female) for 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Team awards are given for Largest Team, Most Spirited Team, and Largest Fundraising Team. Early packet pickup is scheduled at The Running Lab in Brighton; race day packet pickup is at Freedom River.
