Gladiator Assault Challenge
The Gladiator Assault Challenge is an obstacle course event located at Seven Oaks Recreation in Boone, Iowa. This multi-day event features physically challenging courses designed to test speed, agility, strength, and mental stamina through various natural and man-made obstacles. Participants navigate terrain that includes running, climbing, jumping, crawling, balancing, and mud.
The event offers several race formats and distances over the course of the weekend:
- Full Gladiator: A 6-mile obstacle course.
- Saturday Elite: A 6-mile competitive heat for the Full Gladiator distance.
- 5K: A shorter obstacle course distance of 5 kilometers.
- Junior/Parent 5K: A 5-kilometer course option for parents and children.
The Saturday Elite division awards an engraved Gladiator Sword to the first, second, and third-place finishers in both the men's and women's divisions. Sunday participants receive an exclusive Gladiator Wristband. Additionally, members of the largest registered group or team on Sunday are eligible for one complimentary drink. Special pricing is available on Sunday for participants aged 9-14 years old.
