Gladiator Assault Challenge : Boone, Iowa (May 16–17, 2026)
The Gladiator Assault Challenge is a two-day obstacle-course event held at Seven Oaks Recreation in Boone, Iowa on May 16 and 17, 2026. The courses combine natural and man-made obstacles that require running, climbing, jumping, crawling, balancing and traversing mud.
The event offers multiple distance formats, including:
- 5K
- 6 Miles (Full Gladiator)
- Junior/Parent 5K
Several scheduled heats run across both days. Registration details for listed heats show opening on November 1, 2025 and closing on January 1, 2026, with common registration fees noted at $59 for most heats and $69 for an Elite Saturday heat. Sunday registrations include special provisions labeled "SUPER SUNDAY DEALS" in the event information.
Awards and finisher provisions are listed for participants. Saturday Elite division awards include engraved gladiator swords for first, second and third place in men’s and women’s divisions. All participants are listed as receiving a finisher T-shirt, a Gladiator medal, finish-line fruit and one beer for those 21 and over. The organizer notes that finisher shirts or medals cannot be guaranteed within three weeks of the event and advises participants to check at the registration table on the day of the event for availability.
