Event overview

The Stuffed Turkey Endurance Races take place at Jester Park in Granger, Iowa. The event includes multiple distances:

  • 100 Miler
  • 50 Mile
  • 50K
  • 10 Miler

The 50K, 50 Mile, and 100 Mile distances are UTMB index races. This is the seventh running of the event at Jester Park. A shirt and a medal are included with registration.

Course and logistics

The course is 100% trail with small rolling hills and a long flat section. The start is at the Jester Park Equestrian Center. Each loop has about 455 feet of elevation gain; the 100 mile total lists 4,550 feet of ascent and an equivalent descent. Aid stations are located at mile 5 and at the mile 10 start/finish area. Aid stations will be stocked with items such as pizza, pop, rice and beans, potatoes, Gatorade, and GU; runners are advised to bring personal nutrition and their own cup, bottle, or pack because the event is cupless.

For the 100 miler, pacers may join at the start of the sixth lap (mile 50). Multiple pacers are allowed if each completes a 10-mile loop. Non-human aids such as dogs or bicycle pacers are not permitted, except in case-by-case accommodations for physical or mental disabilities.

Packet pickup is on the Thursday before the race at Fleet Feet Des Moines, 521 E Locust St, Des Moines, IA. Registration opens December 1, 2025. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
