Stuffed Turkey Endurance Races

The Stuffed Turkey Endurance Races take place Saturday, November 21, 2026 at Jester Park Equestrian Center in Granger, Iowa. The event offers multiple distances:

  • 100 Miler
  • 50 Miler
  • 50K
  • 10 Miler

The course is entirely on trail with small rolling hills and stretches of flat terrain. The loop has about 455 feet of elevation gain per loop, totaling 4,550 feet of ascent and descent over the 100 mile distance. The 50K, 50 mile, and 100 mile distances are UTMB index races.

Aid stations are located at mile 5 and at the mile 10 start and finish area. This is a cupless event, so participants must bring their own cups, bottles, or hydration packs. Aid stations will offer basic supplies including pizza, pop, rice and beans, potatoes, Gatorade, GU, and similar items; participants should bring any personal nutrition they require.

For the 100 miler, pacers may join at the start of the sixth lap, mile 50. Multiple pacers are allowed provided each completes one 10 mile loop. Dogs, bicycle pacers, and other non human assists are not permitted except when approved for participants with disabilities. Packet pickup is the Thursday before the race at Fleet Feet Des Moines, 521 E Locust St, Des Moines, IA. Registration closes November 19 and day of entries are not accepted.
