Stuffed Turkey Endurance Races

The Stuffed Turkey Endurance Races take place at Jester Park Equestrian Center in Granger, Iowa. The event is the eighth running and features a 100 percent trail course with small rolling hills and stretches of flat terrain. Each loop records 455 feet of elevation gain, totaling 4,550 feet of ascent and descent over the 100 mile distance. Aid stations are located at mile 5 and at the mile 10 start/finish area.

The 50K, 50 Mile, and 100 Mile distances are UTMB index races. The 100 miler allows pacers beginning at the start of the sixth lap (mile 50); multiple pacers are permitted but each must complete one 10-mile loop. Dogs, bicycle pacers, and other non-human assists are not allowed except by case-by-case approval for participants with physical or mental handicaps. The event is cupless; participants should bring their own cups or bottles for aid station refills. Shirts and medals are included; orders placed by November 1 are not guaranteed after that date and day of race entries are not accepted.
