Stuffed Turkey Endurance Races

The Stuffed Turkey Endurance Races take place on November 21, 2026 at Jester Park Equestrian Center, Jester Park, Granger, Iowa, 12130 NW 128th St. This is the eighth running of the event. Distances on the course include:

  • 100 Miler
  • 50 Miler
  • 50K
  • 10 Miler

The course is 100% trail with small rolling hills and a stretch of flat terrain. The 50K, 50 Mile, and 100 Mile distances are UTMB index races. Each loop has 455 feet of elevation gain, totaling 4,550 feet of ascent and descent over the 100 mile distance. Aid stations are located at mile 5 and at the mile 10 start/finish area. Aid stations will be stocked with basic items including pizza, pop, rice and beans, potatoes, Gatorade, GU, and similar supplies. This is a cupless event; paper cups will not be supplied, so runners should bring personal cups, bottles, or hydration packs for refilling.

For the 100 mile race, pacers may join at the start of the sixth lap, mile 50. Multiple pacers are permitted, but each pacer must complete one 10 mile loop with the runner. Dogs, bicycle pacers, and other non human assists are not allowed except for case by case approvals for physical or mental handicaps. Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet Des Moines, 521 E Locust St, Des Moines, IA. Orders for shirts and finishers medals are placed on Nov. 1; entries after that date are not guaranteed a shirt.
