The Stuffed Turkey Endurance Race takes place at Jester Park in Granger, Iowa. This is the event's eighth running. The race offers four distances: a 10 mile, a 50K, a 50 mile, and a 100 mile event.

Course and Format

The course is 100% trail, featuring small rolling hills and a long flat section. The terrain could be fast or extremely tough, depending on the weather. Each loop is 10 miles long with 455 feet of elevation gain. The 100-mile race involves completing ten loops, totaling 4,550 feet of ascent and descent. The start and finish area is at the Jester Park Equestrian Center.

Aid Stations and Rules

There are aid stations at mile 5 and at the start/finish area at mile 10 of each loop. This is a cupless event; runners must bring their own cups, bottles, or packs for fluids, as paper cups are not supplied. Aid stations provide basic foods like pizza, potatoes, rice and beans, Gatorade, and GU, but runners are advised to bring their own personal nutrition. For the 100-mile race, pacers are allowed starting at lap 6 (mile 50). Each pacer must complete one full 10-mile loop, and multiple pacers are permitted. Dogs, bicycles, and other non-human assists are not allowed.

Registration and Logistics

Registration includes a shirt and a finisher's medal, but sizes and availability are only guaranteed for entries received by a specific date. There is no day-of-race entry.
