Course and race policies

The course runs on rural backroads and includes thousands of feet of elevation gain and many hills. Portions use level B roads that can become rough when wet. For 2026, the 50K, 100K, and 100-mile courses will be marked; runners will still be required to carry a cue sheet. Crew support will be allowed on course outside of aid stations, with a limit of one crew vehicle per participant or one crew vehicle per group of runners. Grab-and-go support from crew is described as supplemental, and specific restrictions will be published later.
